Cancelled Games

At the AGM for the 2006/2007 season, a complaint was raised over the rearraging on cancelled matches at the end of the season. A motion was carried that any games cancelled in the first half of the season must be rearranged and played before the Christmas break. A free week is allocated in December but any match may be rearranged and played before then where possible.

Any teams not meeting the deadline given will result in no points awarded to that team for that particular match and no further opportunity to play. The which cancelled the match must also make every effort to rearrange the match on a suitable date to the team offended against. and must also make every effort to play on any dates given to them on or before the deadline. When a date has been set to play a rearranged match, the team which cancelled the match must notify the League Secretary of that date. The winning team should then post the result card to the League Secretary as soon as possible.

The rearranged match must take place at the original venue as per the fixture list. If neither team meets a rearranged deadline then both teams will receive no points.

Any cancelled games in the second half of the season must be played before or on the free week at the end of the league season. The same rules which apply for rearranged games in the first half of the season also apply in the second half of the season.

You are able to play a match with a minimum of four players. Games should not be cancelled if you can meet this requirement.
